The Crown and Sceptre
An Old Inn and Early Freehouse
Since 1839

A short stroll just outside Hemel Hempstead in the Hertfordshire countryside, just on the edge of the Chiltern Hills lays the Crown and Sceptre at the centre of the Ancient Roman Encampment known as Briden's Camp.

An Old Inn and Early Freehouse the Crown and Sceptre dates back to 1839 and was once used as a Tap House for the Local Estate.

Today the pub is still a Freehouse run on good old fashioned values.
